100% Tinta de Toro, an indigenous variety in Spain, it is commonly known as Tempranillo in other regions. The grapes are from vineyards between 10 and 15 years old, giving the wine youthful and fruity flavours.
Destalked grapes go through a short maceration period and then a controlled fermentation. Modern wine making practices are used to enhance the aromas and flavours from the fruit.
Deep cherry red with violet hues. Intense aromas coming from the maceration showing wild fruity notes, liquorice. Medium bodied, with a meaty, fruity character and a hint of freshness in the mouth. Long and persistent finish.
